why this project?
This was made for my sister that always struggle on her notepad to write down all she has to buy in grossery stores or supermarket, so I decided to help her and create a simple app where she could organize her lists.
design
The design is really minimalist, the point here is to have an app very easy to use and understand. The colors are mainly shades of blue with a bit of green and red. I used a lot of fontawesome icon to represent the different types of products.
development
I create this app with Wordpress. I made a full custom theme with custom post types and advance custom fields to be able to do exactly what I had in mind.
The user never goes to wp-admin to create or edit his list or product, I made all the different pages so I could customized as I wanted.
It's also a PWA, using a PWA pluggins since it was mainly created to be used on a mobile phone.
There is no specific desktop theme, it's still works but the display is not ideal, but once again, this was create to be used on mobile only.
